Chi siamo

On the pendices of Monte di Portofino, in Nozarego, a hill overlooking the Tigullio Gulf, Umberto and Carla Costa recovered the family agricultural activity

We started reclaiming abandoned land, terraces of ancient and productive olive groves that had become habitat of suffocating ivy and impenetrable brambles, asylum for wild boars that over time destroyed the dry stone walls, modifying, between others, the landscape.
Umberto as a young man frequented the family oil mill and still retains the memory of the slow procedures, rites and tools of the time, aware of the precious commodity that was produced.
Passing on to his wife, children and grandchildren, the tradition of the past, it survives adjourned to the changed, more modern and scientific systems of pruning and milling.
